In the Dutch East Indies time, the
name of Persija is VIJ (Voetbalbond Indonesische Jacatra). Post-Republic of
Indonesia back to the Unitary State, VIJ renamed to Persija (Football
Association of Indonesia, Jakarta).
The 2001 Liga Indonesia champion Persija Jakarta have unveiled their new-look League home, away and third kits for the 2015 season campaign. Modeled by Persija players, the 2015 Persija kits wear a three kit collection from League. The range features a home kit in The Persija traditional orange, a predominantly red away uniform, and white third shirt with with orange stripes.
